About Mike

Mike Anderson

Mike Anderson is the Associate Real Estate Director for the Historic South Initiative (HSI) and serves as project manager of the HSI Housing Repair Program. In this role, he oversees whole-home rehabilitations and modular home infill developments, ensuring that each project strengthens neighborhoods and improves the quality of life for residents.

Mike’s work is centered on delivering high-quality, sustainable housing solutions that combine technical excellence with community impact. He manages projects from planning through completion, coordinating closely with residents, contractors, and community partners to ensure housing reflects neighborhood priorities. With experience in property rehabilitation, project management, and partnership building, Mike has helped expand access to safe and affordable housing through both renovation and new development.

A graduate of Lehigh University, Mike has been engaged in real estate development and community-focused housing initiatives since 2018. Guided by values of equity, accountability, and collaboration, he approaches every project with the goal of creating long-term, positive change for families and neighborhoods.

Outside of his professional work, Mike enjoys family life with his young son who keeps him active on and off the soccer field. He also volunteers as a coach for his son’s soccer team. He enjoys playing sports, traveling, and learning new things, and he values the perspective and balance that come from time spent with family.
