To ensure our development efforts directly protect local families, all HSI residential listings are subject to strict community preservation guidelines:
Primary Residency Requirement: All properties are sold exclusively to buyers who will legally occupy the home as their primary, permanent residence.
Affordable Financing Access: We work hand-in-hand with local lending partners, civic housing programs, and the City of Toledo to connect buyers with down-payment assistance programs and accessible mortgage structures.
Must meet area median income requirements for Lucas County.
Must have a Pre-Approval letter from mortgage lender. Recommended lenders below.
Must have completed or will commit to completing the required financial literacy program.
